Dr. Catherine Harper-Wynne
MD, MRCP Consultant Medical Oncologist, Dr Catherine Harper-Wynne qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (University of London) and completed General Medical Training at St Georges
Hospital Medical Rotation. In 1996 commenced medical oncology training at Charing Cross Hospital training in
breast cancer with Professor Charles Coombes.1998-2001 Royal Marsden Hospital to conduct research into endocrine therapies in primary breast cancer and its prevention resulting in an MD from the University of London and presentations at international meetings.
2004 completed her medical oncology training at the Royal Marsden having trained in breast cancer with Professor lan Smith and gastrointestinal cancer with Professor David Cunningham.
September 2004 commenced as Consultant Medical Oncologist at Kent Oncology Centre, Maidstone Hospital.
She is interested in continuing clinical research, publishing widely. Recently involved in new ways to give chemotherapy for breast cancer, use of HRT after breast cancer and breast cancer and pregnancy.
Member of the Association of Cancer Physicians.
